Newborns join Jennings Health through THE FIRST YEAR, our prepaid newborn care package. We are a whole-family practice, so parents and siblings join the practice alongside baby.Start by completing our Family Application early in pregnancy, including your estimated due date. This gives us time to learn about your family and plan for your baby’s arrival. We have a limited number of newborn spots, so we can’t guarantee acceptance, but if we have a place for your family, we’ll text you with next steps to reserve it.

THE FIRST YEAR, our prepaid newborn package, includes eight well visits: newborn, 2 weeks, and 1, 2, 4, 6, 9, and 12 months. It also includes 12 messaging visits for medical questions and guidance between appointments.Sick visits, additional problem-focused visits, procedures, medications, labs, imaging, and specialty testing are billed separately. Care for parents and siblings is also billed separately.All babies establishing care before their first birthday enroll through THE FIRST YEAR. Individual well visits are not available during this time. The package expires one month after your baby’s first birthday. Unused visits are nonrefundable, cannot be transferred, and do not roll over.

THE FIRST YEAR, our prepaid newborn package costs $2,495 for new families and $1,995 for established Jennings Health families welcoming another baby.For new families, a $250 nonrefundable deposit reserves your baby’s spot after acceptance. This is applied toward the package total, leaving a balance of $2,245, due before your baby’s first visit. Once your deposit is received, we’ll send your onboarding paperwork.Established families receive the $1,995 rate, and the deposit is waived. Please contact us during pregnancy to confirm availability and reserve your baby’s spot.

Messaging visits allow you to receive medical guidance without scheduling an appointment. They're ideal for straightforward questions, medication adjustments, reviewing photos, or determining the next best step when an office visit may not be necessary.Because these conversations involve medical decision-making and become part of your child's or your medical record, they are billed just like other clinical services. If a concern can't be safely managed by message, we'll recommend scheduling a visit instead.

Yes, we offer televisits for established patients located in Virginia or Washington, DC. Televisits are available for follow-up visits and select sick visits when appropriate.New patient visits and well-care visits must be completed in person.In addition, we offer asynchronous Messaging Visits. Messaging visits are billed as time-based visits and are intended for care that can be safely addressed outside of a scheduled appointment.

No. Jennings Health does not offer consultation-only care or one-time functional medicine visits.Functional medicine is available exclusively to established Jennings Health patients. We believe the best care comes from an ongoing relationship, not a single consultation, which is why families establish Jennings Health as their primary care home before pursuing more in-depth functional medicine care.
