Jennings Health is a whole-family practice. We do not enroll children or adults individually — families must apply and establish care together. We provide personalized, integrative care for parents and their children from birth through age 60. While all applications are reviewed thoughtfully, priority is given to larger family units, and capacity is limited.
Please visit https://www.jennings.health/vaccinefriendly for insight into our vaccine philosophy.
We love newborns and would be honored to care for your growing family. If you're expecting, complete our Family Application early in pregnancy (and don't forget to include your due date). That gives us the best chance to determine whether we're a good fit and whether we'll have space when your baby arrives. If your family is accepted, we'll text you with next steps. To hold your newborn's place, accepted families submit a $250 non-refundable deposit, which is applied toward "The First Year," our newborn wellness package. If you decide not to move forward, the deposit is non-refundable.When labor begins, send us a text at 571-506-7265. Once your baby arrives, we'll get your first visit on the schedule. Regardless of where your baby was born, we like to see newborns in the office within the first eight days of life for their first wellness exam.
"The First Year" is Jennings Health's prepaid newborn wellness package for babies from birth through 12 months. It includes 8 Well Visits (newborn, 2 weeks, 1 month, 2, 4, 6, 9, and 12 months) along with 12 Messaging Visits for questions that come up between appointments. The package is designed for healthy, preventive care during your baby's first year. Sick visits, urgent visits, procedures, medications, labs, imaging, and specialty testing are billed separately if needed.Accepted families reserve their newborn's place with a $250 non-refundable deposit, which is applied toward the package. The remaining balance is due before your baby's first visit. "The First Year" expires 13 months after your baby's date of birth. Any unused visits or messaging visits do not roll over, expire without refund, and cannot be transferred.
Messaging visits allow you to receive medical guidance without scheduling an appointment. They're ideal for straightforward questions, medication adjustments, reviewing photos, or determining the next best step when an office visit may not be necessary.Because these conversations involve medical decision-making and become part of your child's or your medical record, they are billed just like other clinical services. If a concern can't be safely managed by message, we'll recommend scheduling a visit instead.
Yes, we offer televisits for established patients located in Virginia or Washington, DC. Televisits are available for follow-up visits and select sick visits when appropriate.New patient visits and well-care visits must be completed in person. In addition, we offer asynchronous Messaging Visits. Messaging visits are billed as time-based visits and are intended for care that can be safely addressed outside of a scheduled appointment.
You don't have to figure that out on your own! Just reach out by text or through the patient portal, and we'll help determine the most appropriate next step. Our goal is to recommend the level of care that's safest, most appropriate, and most convenient for your situation.
If your family is accepted, we'll text you with next steps for scheduling your first appointments. Once established, you can reach Jennings Health by text at 571-506-7265 or through the patient portal. We review messages throughout the business day, prioritize urgent concerns, and respond as soon as we can.

We believe the best care comes from an ongoing relationship, not a single consultation, which is why families establish Jennings Health as their primary care home before pursuing more in-depth functional medicine care.
